- This model shall be used in the event that inaccurate or incomplete data have to be rectified by the controller.
- In order to prove the inaccuracy or incompleteness of the data being processed, it is necessary to provide the data controller with documentation to that effect.
- It will be necessary to provide a photocopy of the ID card or equivalent document that proves the identity and is considered valid by law, in those cases where the controller has doubts about its identity. In the case of acting through legal representation, it will also be necessary to provide an ID card and a document proving the representation of the representative.
- The Spanish Data Protection Agency does not have your personal data and can only provide the contact details of the Data Protection Delegates of the entities obliged to appoint a representative who has communicated his or her appointment to the Agency. It may also provide these contact data with regard to those entities that have designated a Delegate on a voluntary basis and have communicated it.
- The holder of the personal data that is the object of processing must address himself directly to the public or private body, company or professional that he presumes or is certain possesses his data.
- In order for the Spanish Data Protection Agency to be able to process your complaint in the event that your request to exercise the right of rectification has not been met, it is necessary that one month has passed without the person responsible having responded to your request, and that you provide one of the following documents:
- the refusal of the data controller to rectify the data requested.
- a stamped copy of the form requesting rectification from the data controller.
